Tawana is the Head of the Global Client and Agency for APAC at Meta, leading teams that provide strategic advice to CMOs, business leaders, and agency partners on the optimal use of mobile advertising and commerce solutions to expedite their brand growth. Across her 25-year career, Tawana has been an integral part of organizations that have influenced some of the world's largest brands and advertising agencies across the US, EMEA, LATAM, and most recently, APAC. Prior to joining Meta, Tawana led brand and product teams at Intuit, LeapFrog, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer. These teams were responsible for the successful development of innovative products including QuickBooks, Listerine, Advil, and ChapStick.
In 2019, Tawana was recognized in Adweek's Women Trailblazers for her active mentorship and investment in over 15 women-led companies. She launched the groundbreaking #biascorrect campaign, which aimed to address bias and promote the discussion of women in leadership roles. Her contributions to the industry were further acknowledged when she was inducted into the Ad Age Global Leading Women Class of 2023. She is the co-leader of the Singapore Inclusion Council at Meta and serves on the board IAB Southeast Asia and India.
